PS has to establish itself as a political alternative for the Azores

The leader of PS/Açores, Francisco César, stated that the party needs to assert itself as a political alternative given the failure it identifies in the current regional coalition government PSD/CDS-PP/PPM. Francisco César expressed this position to journalists in Ponta Delgada, on the island of São Miguel, during the start of the parliamentary sessions of the party structure. The socialist politician considered that the coalition governing the Azores is not meeting the expectations of the population. This statement marks the beginning of a period of political work by PS/Açores in the context of its regional parliamentary activities.
