The robot in question, called Iron, has already come off the production line autonomously, demonstrating Xpeng's ability to manufacture functional humanoids at scale. This mass production is part of the company's ambitious plans for this year.

The initiative shows how Xpeng is diversifying its portfolio, applying its expertise in technology and artificial intelligence to the development of humanoid robots. With this dedicated production line, the company aims to accelerate its entry into the robotics market.
