Over two thousand teacher schedules remain unfilled one week before the start of school on September 18. The situation occurs at a critical moment for the beginning of the school year, as schools and families prepare for the return to normal school activities.
The Education minister assures there are teachers available to fill all these vacant schedules. The statement emerges as a way to reassure the educational community regarding concerns about the lack of teachers in schools.
Starting September 18, teachers will begin being assigned on a daily basis, a new approach to try to resolve the problem. This strategy aims to minimize as much as possible the period during which students go without classes due to teacher absences.
