SAPO Notícias8 September 2026 at 08:23

The play "False True Stories: A Pina Collage" arrives at the Centro Cultural de Belém on September 11 and 12. The show is centered on the work of writer and journalist Manuel António Pina, a prominent figure in contemporary Portuguese literature.

The play was first presented in March at the São João National Theatre in Porto. The direction is by Victor Hugo Pontes, who also signs the conception and dramaturgy of the show.

Accompanied by the live music of Pedro Costa, the show crosses texts by Manuel António Pina with original compositions, creating what is described as a "Pina Collage". The proposal is to revisit the author's work through different fragments and approaches.
