Rock in Rio arrived on Monday (7) at its fourth day of operation, after an intense lineup that included big names such as Foo Fighters, Sepultura, Avenged Sevenfold, Barão Vermelho, BaianaSystem, and Black Eyed Peas. The festival is set up at Cidade do Rock, located at Olympic Park, in Barra da Tijuca, in the Southwest Zone of the capital city of Rio de Janeiro.
The team from newspaper O GLOBO was present at the event following the performances on the Mundo and Sunset stages, which brought together varied styles, from heavy metal to Brazilian music and dance rhythms. The newspaper's editorial staff published reviews and notes about the shows held up to that point.
Among the featured performances, Di Ferrero opened the Sunset Stage lineup with NX Zero classics and a Nirvana cover. The singer appeared "all in black in the middle of the hot sun of Friday's afternoon," with a more pop and sexy approach than that of his original band.
The newspaper made available to readers an interactive game so they could build their ideal festival line-up, in addition to real-time coverage of the third day of the event, allowing the audience to follow the schedule even from a distance.
