Arnold Schwarzenegger is known for bringing memorable characters to life in cinema, such as in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," from 1991, where he delivered the iconic line "Hasta la vista, baby." However, the actor also played a character that many fans prefer to forget: Mr. Freeze in "Batman & Robin," from 1997, a film that divides opinions and received negative reviews.
In the film, Schwarzenegger played the villain Mr. Freeze, a character based on scientist Victor Fries, condemned to live in an environment with extremely low temperatures. The production combined action with science fiction and featured an elaborate costume for the character.
The suit worn by the actor caught so much attention from Schwarzenegger himself that he made a peculiar deal: he pays one dollar a year to keep the Mr. Freeze uniform. The actor demonstrated personal interest in preserving the costume item as a memento of his participation in the film.
