The first week of Rock in Rio recorded over 200 lost items over the first four days of the festival, which began last Friday (4) and continued until Monday (7). The event will still have three final days this weekend. The lost and found department began operating on the very first day, when the Foo Fighters band performed the main act on the Mundo Stage.
Among the most common lost items were documents, sunglasses and prescription glasses, as well as cell phones. On the second day of the festival, which featured the Avenged Sevenfold performance, at least 50 bags had already been forgotten, including one that contained several medications inside.
On the third day, marked by DJ Calvin Harris's performance closing the Mundo Stage, the highlights were sunglasses and pieces of clothing, such as underwear and jackets abandoned by the audience. Throughout the entire week, the lost and found department also received objects such as motorcycle keys, a wedding ring and a travel bag.
To recover lost items, the festival provides a specific customer service channel, where people like Gabriela Medeiros were able to retrieve their belongings.
