The judge of the Spanish National Court María Tardón admitted as popular plaintiffs all organizations and parties that requested it in the proceedings investigating the mass entry in Ceuta on July 30 and 31. The magistrate followed a simple criterion of not complicating things and accepted practically all requests, with a single exception.
The association Zeolandia was admitted as a popular plaintiff, although its webpage presents four dogs (Chispito, Chocolatina, Ladri and Bimbi) and a cat (Oruga) as members of its board. The organization was included among those that will exercise the popular action in the judicial proceedings.
Only the party Se Acabó la Fiesta, founded by extremist Alvise, was left out of the proceedings. The judge rejected its admission due to the crime against humanity it attributed to the Moroccan monarch and his Government, considering that the accusation did not present "the slightest justification or explanation" for such imputation.
Ceuta experienced last July a mass entry of migrants, which led to the opening of this judicial investigation in the National Court to determine responsibilities for the events.
