The ninth deputy mayor Alberto Vidal participated in August in an institutional visit to Esztergom, a Hungarian city where Na Violant d'Hongria was born, a historical figure very linked to Castelló for having been the wife of King Jaume I El Conqueridor.

The working visit aimed to strengthen the historical ties between the two cities and resulted in the preparation of a report with 12 work lines, according to what Vidal himself reported.

Na Violant d'Hongria is represented every year by a young woman within the Germandat dels Cavallers de la Conquesta, a tradition that keeps the memory of this historical figure alive in the city of Castelló.

The report prepared by Alberto Vidal details the 12 work lines that will result from this institutional visit to Hungary, representing a concrete step towards cooperation between the two cities linked by the history of Na Violant.
