The September 7th holiday has already passed and September will have no more national holidays. However, some Brazilian municipalities maintain commemorative dates that generate days off for the local population.

On this Tuesday, September 8th, at least four cities will have days off: Tocantins celebrates the Day of Our Lady of the Nativity, Vitória, in Espírito Santo, has the Day of Our Lady of Victory and the city's anniversary, São Luís, in Maranhão, commemorating the Day of Our Lady of the Nativity and its anniversary, and Curitiba, in Paraná, celebrates the Day of Our Lady of... The 2026 calendar still reserves other national holidays in the coming months. Most of these dates should fall on Mondays or Fridays, making long weekends easier for workers.
