Belo surprised the Rock in Rio audience on Monday night (7) by bringing ten participants from the "Estrela da Casa" program to come up on stage with him. The singer, who is the ambassador of the Favela Stage for the second time at the festival, was performing his pagode classics, both from the Soweto era and more recent hits.
The participants of the Globo talent show were brought to the stage as part of the mentorship that Belo carries out in the program. In an interview with EXTRA, the 52-year-old artist talked about the importance of taking these young talents to an event the size of Rock in Rio, saying it was "so beautiful" and that they told a beautiful story up to that point.
Belo stated he is certain that from that show onward, the participants begin a new path, regardless of the result in the program, and that they were able to feel the energy of the audience and get a taste of what the road is like.
