Luís Xavier ninth at the Paracycling World Championships

Portuguese Luís Xavier finished in ninth position in the road race event of the C5 category at the Paracycling World Championships, held in Huntsville. The athlete finished just four seconds behind the new world champion, Frenchman Eliott Pierre. This was the classification achieved by the Portuguese in this elite competition of international paracycling. The road race, which is one of the main events of the championship, brought together the best athletes in the world across the various disability categories.
