The event takes place on September 10th at the Congress Center and at the José Estêvão School in Aveiro.
The Days are organized by the Training Center of School Association Networks of the Municipalities of Aveiro and Albergaria-a-Velha (CFAECAAV) and by Labor Aveiro, with the support of the Aveiro Municipal Council, the José Estêvão School Grouping, the Centro de Formación del Profesorado e Innovación Educativa de Salamanca, the 9.5.9 association, and The Navigator Company.
The magazine Labor was founded in 1926 in Aveiro by José Pereira Tavares and, over a century, accompanied the evolution of teaching in the region through four series. In 1996, the title also came to identify the Cultural Association of Teachers, and in 2025 the magazine was revived with a 5th series.
The program includes a conference on the one hundred years of the magazine Labor with Doctor M. Ferreira Rodrigues, a session dedicated to continuous teacher training in Spain, and group work in the afternoon. The activity has accreditation from the Scientific-Pedagogical Council for Continuous Training, being valid for career progression in teaching.
