The French company Artelia, one of the ten largest European construction engineering companies, bought the Portuguese company Sopsec, specialized in building engineering. The acquisition represents another step in the French group's international expansion in the construction sector.

Sopsec is a Portuguese national company that was founded almost 40 years ago. The company has around 150 workers and is recognized in the Portuguese market for its specialization in building engineering.

With this operation, Artelia reinforces its presence in Portugal by integrating a company with decades of experience in the national market. The French giant thus continues its growth strategy through acquisitions in strategic European markets.
