Dancer Ingrid Silva Returns to Rock in Rio Stage Alongside Jon Batiste

38-year-old Rio-born dancer Ingrid Silva took to the Mundo Stage at the City of Rock for a performance alongside singer Jon Batiste during Rock in Rio 2026. The two artists starred in one of the most beautiful moments of the festival edition, performing the song "Butterfly".

Ingrid Silva is considered a reference in Brazilian ballet and had previously performed at Rock in Rio in 2024. On that occasion, she performed at a show paying tribute to singer Alcione, alongside the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, in a solo accompanied by samba music.

Regarding her relationship with rock, Ingrid revealed to GLOBO that it was born from the moment she started living in New York, 15 years ago. According to her, she always liked bands that were alternative and creative.
