The 2026 edition of Rock in Rio introduced a novelty called Confort Zone, located on the left side of Palco Mundo. The space has capacity for two thousand people, occupies 674 square meters, and offers bathrooms and an exclusive bar, as well as places to sit. Tickets cost R$1,950 (R$975 for half price).
The area is positioned very close to the sound speakers and a crane with a TV broadcast camera. It was precisely this proximity to the crane that bothered some fans who had already been in the VIP area since early, such as Valdete Marques, from Blumenau (SC), who watched Elton John's show.
Valdete criticized the stage view offered by the space, saying she expected something better for the ticket price and that the crane would greatly harm the experience. She stated she would not purchase the ticket again, receiving support from other Elton John fans who were in the same area.
The novelty has divided opinions at the City of Rock. While some complain about the view obstructed by the crane, others seem satisfied with the exclusive advantages offered by the space, such as the private bathrooms and bar and the available seating.
