CDP promotes Federative Presidents Summit to review legislation

Record7 September 2026 at 22:11

CDP promoted a Summit of Federative Presidents to debate and review relevant legislation for the sports sector. The event brought together leaders from various sports federations to analyze proposals for amendments to two fundamental legal frameworks.

During the summit, the leaders presented proposals to amend the Legal Framework for Sports Federations. This legislation regulates the functioning, powers, and structure of the federations that organize sports disciplines in Portugal.

In parallel, amendments to the Legal Framework for Public Use Sports Infrastructure were also discussed. This legislation establishes the rules for the construction, management, and use of sports facilities open to the population.

The CDP initiative aims to bring together the main stakeholders in the federated sports system to achieve consensus on the legislative reforms necessary for the development of the sector in Portugal.
