Cristian Tello, former FC Porto winger, announced his retirement from football at the age of 35. The Spanish player, who represented the Portuguese club between 2012 and 2015, decided to bring his professional career to an end.
The former athlete believes that football gave him everything he needed. In his public statements, Tello stated that the sport allowed him to fulfill dreams that once seemed impossible to achieve.
During his time at FC Porto, Cristian Tello was a regular starter in the first team and won important titles with the Dragons. His career also included spells at other clubs, but it was the years in Portuguese football that most significantly marked his professional journey.
