The Permanent Committee unanimously approved the debate on the motion of censure against the Government presented by the Chega party.
André Ventura, leader of Chega, harshly criticized Luís Neves, Minister of Internal Administration, accusing him of stubbornness and authoritarianism as justifications for presenting the motion of censure.
Before the debate on the motion, Luís Neves will have to face deputies in the Assembly of the Republic to provide clarification on the controversies in which he is involved.
The Chega party is thus proceeding with the motion of censure against the Government, at a time of growing political tension involving the Minister of Internal Administration.
