According to the social-democratic party, this motion only serves to "feed André Ventura's ego", leader of the Chega party. Following questions raised by the PS (Socialist Party), which threatened to proceed with a parliamentary inquiry committee, the Executive requested an independent and comprehensive evaluation of the external assessment model from the National Education Council, whose final report should be delivered by December 31, 2026.
