The Ministry of Education guarantees that it did not receive technical alerts recommending stopping the digital marking of national exams in 2026, despite problems identified in the first implementation phase, such as file integrity failures, incorrect sheet associations and parameterization errors affecting more than 21,000 grades. The Government acknowledges that the constraints generated anxiety among students and families, but emphasizes that the second phase proceeded without significant problems, with the number of error reports dropping from 90,479 to 5,110. Following questions raised by the PS (Socialist Party), which threatened to proceed with a parliamentary inquiry committee, the Executive requested an independent and comprehensive evaluation of the external assessment model from the National Education Council, whose final report should be delivered by December 31, 2026.
