Portuguese swimmer Susana Veiga finished in fifth place in the 50 meters freestyle in the S9 category, during the European Paralympic Swimming Championships taking place in Kocaeli, Turkiye.
This was the Portuguese athlete's result at the European paralympic swimming competition, where the best swimmers on the continent are participating.
The S9 category is for athletes with physical disabilities, and Susana Veiga represented Portugal in this speed event.
The event in Kocaeli brings together paralympic swimmers from across Europe in an internationally prestigious adapted swimming competition.
