The SEFU is a luxury cruise ship approximately 120 meters long, 19 meters in beam, and a draft of approximately five meters. It is being built at the WestSea shipyards in Viana do Castelo for the Japanese group Ryobi Holdings, with an investment of approximately 100 million euros and delivery expected for 2027. The ship will be entirely built in Viana do Castelo.
The new dry dock, designated Dock No. 3, represents an investment of approximately 24 million euros. With 220 meters in length and 45 meters in width, this infrastructure will allow the shipyard to accommodate larger ships in the future.
The images released show the SEFU performing the transfer maneuvers to the new dry dock on the morning of Monday, September 7. This transfer marks the debut of the infrastructure and represents a significant milestone in the construction of the ship.
