IMT restructuring provides 90 days for AMT transfer

This diploma published this Monday establishes a 90-day deadline for the restructuring of the Instituto da Mobilidade e dos Transportes (IMT).

This decree provides for the transfer of some competencies from IMT to the Autoridade da Mobilidade e dos Transportes (AMT).

The tasks to be transferred include functions related to railway safety and other guided transport systems.

The measure comes in the context of a reorganization of the entities responsible for the regulation and supervision of transport in Portugal.
