PSD's parliamentary leader, Hugo Soares, considered today that Chega's motion of censure against the Government is "displaced from reality and fell from Mars tumbling down". These statements were made at the end of the first PSD parliamentary group meeting after the parliamentary recess.
Hugo Soares defended that Minister Luís Neves has already given "all explanations" regarding the matter that motivated the motion of censure. PSD announced that it will vote down the motion presented by Chega.
When questioned whether voting down the motion could function as a reinforcement of confidence in the Executive, Hugo Soares did not want to reveal the party's strategy for Tuesday's debate.
Chega's motion of censure against the Government will be debated on Tuesday, and PSD, the largest opposition party, has already indicated that it will vote against it.
