Government meets with parties at the end of the month about the State Budget

The Portuguese Government will meet with political parties at the end of the month to discuss the State Budget. These meetings will take place in the Assembly of the Republic, following the usual protocol for this type of budget consultation.

The Chega party confirmed having received a meeting request from the Executive. This confirmation comes in the context of preparation for the discussion and voting of the next State Budget.

The budget document will need to be formally submitted by October 10, the deadline established for the presentation of the State Budget proposal in the Assembly of the Republic.
