Hugo Soares, parliamentary leader of PSD, accused André Ventura of being the "deputy of chaos and instability", in a direct attack on the Chega party on the eve of the motion of censure that will be debated in Parliament.
The Social-Democrat criticized the decision to bring a motion of censure against the Government to Parliament, considering that this initiative feeds "chaos" and political "instability" in the country.
Hugo Soares rejected any scenario of the Executive falling and expressed hope that the debate would allow for the analysis of Luís Neves' performance as Minister of Internal Administration, and not the controversies involving his name related to the period when he headed the Judicial Police.
