The tensions in the Strait of Ormuz region have escalated again, with Iran preparing a new exclusion zone and threatening ships, causing oil prices to approach 100 dollars.
The Iranian announcement comes after a weekend marked by new attacks between the United States and Iran, which included American attacks against three Iranian oil tankers.
In response, Iranian forces fired at American warships in the region, increasing the climate of confrontation between the two countries.
The escalation of violence in the strategic Strait of Ormuz, through which a large part of the world's oil passes, is causing concern in international markets given the possibility of an interruption in crude oil supplies.
