Coimbra approves transfer of two buildings to the Miguel Torga Institute

The Coimbra Council approved the transfer of two municipal buildings located in the Baixa of the city for the installation of the Miguel Torga Higher Institute. The decision was made at a meeting of the municipal executive.

The buildings will be used for teaching and research activities of the institute. This transfer is part of a strategy to enhance municipal heritage in the historic zone of Coimbra.

The Miguel Torga Higher Institute is a higher education institution that now has new facilities in the city center. The transfer of the buildings represents an investment in the local academic community.
