The mayor of Porto, Pedro Duarte, decrees two days of municipal mourning, on Tuesday and Wednesday, following the death of former mayor Nuno Cardoso, according to a dispatch to which the news agency had access. Nuno Cardoso, who was president of the Porto City Council, passed away, and his death led to the declaration of municipal mourning. The dispatch was issued by Pedro Duarte, current mayor, and establishes the two days of official mourning in the municipality. The decision aims to honor the memory of the former president of the Porto municipality.
