Frederico Santos is the new signing for Vitória SC's volleyball team, arriving from SC Espinho. The setter began his formation at the Espinho club and completed much of his growth as an athlete at São Mamede, where he debuted as a senior player.
In 2018, he headed to the United States to represent IPFW Mastodons in the American college league. He returned to Portugal in 2021 to play for Sporting CP, followed by three seasons at Castêlo da Maia. Last season he returned to SC Espinho, where he played 30 official games.
At the presentation as a Vitória SC player, Frederico Santos expressed enthusiasm for the new challenge, highlighting his identification with the values of the Vimaranense club and the feeling of pride in representing the green and white colors. In Guimarães he will find familiar faces, including Luiz Philippe, with whom he shared the locker room at Castêlo da Maia.
