The Portuguese Government will meet with all parties with parliamentary seats at the end of September to discuss the State Budget for 2027. The information was confirmed to the Lula agency by the office of the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Carlos Abreu Amorim.
The meetings between the executive and the parties will take place, as usual, in the Assembly of the Republic, with the aim of preparing next year's budget.
The president of Chega, André Ventura, stated this Monday that he received a meeting request from the Government about the next State Budget.
The State Budget must be submitted to the Assembly of the Republic by the Government by October 10. This year, that date falls on a Saturday. Last year, the executive submitted the document on October 9, the day before the deadline and the last day of the municipal election campaign.
