The European Union registered the return of more than 33 people to their countries of origin during the first half of the year. This number represents a significant movement of returns in the European migratory context.
Approximately two-thirds of these people returned voluntarily, choosing to return to their countries of origin of their own free will. This high proportion of voluntary returns indicates an important trend in the European Union's migration policies.
At the same time, there was also an increase in the demand for reintegration programmes. These programmes aim to support those who return to their countries of origin, facilitating their reintegration into their communities of origin.
