Russia spends approximately 25 million euros per hour on the war, according to an analysis of data from the Russian Ministry of Finance. This value represents a new record in the country's military expenditure.
The figures were determined by Janis Kluge, a researcher at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs, known by its German abbreviation SWP. The study was subsequently published by the Kyiv Post newspaper.
The analyst based his research exclusively on official data published by the Russian Ministry of Finance itself, which makes the estimates particularly significant as they come from Russian government sources.
This unprecedented level of expenditure reflects the significant financial impact that the conflict is having on the Russian economy, with astronomical funds being continuously channeled to the military effort.
