Tigres-MEX opened negotiations to sign striker Arthur Cabral from Botafogo. The Mexican team made an offer of eight million dollars, approximately R$ 41 million at the current exchange rate, for the 28-year-old forward, who could leave the black and white club during this transfer window. The information was initially published by journalist Venê Casagrande and confirmed by GLOBO.
As the Mexican football transfer market closes on Friday, the 11th, as it does in Brazil, Tigres is in a hurry to advance the negotiations. The Mexican club needs to resolve the signing quickly if it wants to have the player this season.
Arthur Cabral arrived at Botafogo in June 2025 to strengthen the black and white squad in the Club World Cup in the United States and, subsequently, to replace idol Igor Jesus. He was signed permanently for a total value of 15 million euros, approximately R$ 95 million at the exchange rate at the time.
Native of Campina Grande, in Paraíba, Arthur Cabral was revealed by Ceará and played for clubs such as Palmeiras, Basel, Fiorentina and Benfica before arriving at Botafogo.
