Sporting's SAD ruled out, right at the start of the transfer market, the possibility of signing Yeremay, playmaker from Deportivo da Coruña. The decision came due to the high financial demands presented by the Galician club and by the player himself.
The young winger, who had shown interest in joining the lions, ended up regretting the stance he adopted during the negotiations. Yeremay then reportedly turned to a businessman to try to reopen doors with Sporting.
According to information advanced by Record, Sporting does not intend to resume talks for the 21-year-old player, considering the process closed. The Lisbon club thus turned attention to other options in the market to strengthen the attacking sector.
This situation arises at a time when the market is still open, but Yeremay's prospects of arriving at Alvalade are now practically nil, with both parties maintaining distance after the failed initial negotiations.
