Rodrigo Marques, a driver from Trás-os-Montes, achieved victory at the Spanish Endurance Championship, behind the wheel of a 160 hp Nissan Sunny N14, securing first place in the Touring Cars Class 4 category. The endurance race lasted a total of 6 hours and took place with temperatures around 38°C, which made the environment inside the cockpit extremely difficult and exhausting for the drivers.

Rodrigo Marques was integrated into the Spanish team Apex Drivers, alongside teammates Kike and Raul. Throughout the entire race, the driver from Valpaços maintained a steady and error-free pace until the checkered flag, overcoming the difficult conditions imposed by the intense heat.

According to the driver himself, despite some mechanical problems, the Nissan Sunny performed at its best and the work of the entire team was impeccable. Rodrigo Marques highlighted that this victory represents immense pride for bringing the name of Valpaços and Trás-os-Montes to the top of the podium in Spain.

With this triumph on Spanish soil, Rodrigo Marques establishes himself in the international motorsport scene, taking the Trás-os-Montes region further and gaining motivation for upcoming sporting challenges.
