Mobility: 'Vai e Vem' is now operating to reduce vehicle pressure in the Hospital area

Guimarães, agora!7 September 2026 at 17:03

A system called "Vai e Vem" was implemented to try to reduce the pressure of automobile traffic in the Hospital area. The system has already come into operation as a pilot experience.

The main objective of this initiative is to minimize the flow of vehicles at the motorway exit and at the Hospital entrance, areas that usually face congestion problems.

The "Vai e Vem" will operate as a test until the end of the year, when its effectiveness in managing traffic in that area will be evaluated. This solution appears as an attempt to improve urban mobility in the hospital area.
