Coimbra will host for the first time the Pink October Race, an event dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer prevention. The race is scheduled for October 10th, with the start planned for 5:00 PM.
The race will go through the streets of the city of Coimbra, with the organizers expecting the participation of thousands of people. The event aims to alert the population to the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer.
The initiative arises within the scope of the Pink October movement, which is celebrated internationally throughout the month of October and which aims to raise awareness about this disease that affects a large number of women in Portugal and around the world.
