The Madeira Teachers' Union (SPM) announced the holding of a union initiative called "Teachers' and Educators' Indignation Forum", scheduled for September 9, at 11:00 AM. The event will take place in front of the Regional Secretariat for Education, on Avenida Arriaga.
This mobilization comes as a response to the growing outrage of teachers in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, who have expressed increasing dissatisfaction with working conditions and regional education policies.
The SPM, as the main representative body for Madeira's teachers, promotes this initiative as a way to give voice to the region's educators and teachers, channeling the accumulated discontent towards the regional authorities.
The choice of location, in front of the Regional Secretariat for Education, aims to directly pressure the regional government to listen to the claims of education professionals and to address their complaints.
