Champions: Luis Godinho referees João Mário's AEK against LASK Linz

Portuguese referee Luis Godinho has been appointed to referee the Champions League match between AEK Athens, a team that features Portuguese player João Mário, and LASK Linz. This match is part of the European football competition.

Luis Godinho will be supported by three assistant referees: Pedro Martins, Gonçalo Freire and André Narciso. The refereeing team will also include Tiago Martins, who will serve as VAR (Video Assistant Referee).

The appointment was made by UEFA, the organization that runs the Champions League and is responsible for assigning referees to competition matches. This is another significant Portuguese contribution to the group stage of the main European club competition.
