Representatives of the Three Powers attended the September 7th parade on the Ministries Esplanade in Brasília. The joint attendance occurred amid the crisis faced by the Supreme Federal Court with the developments in the investigations of the Master case.
The ceremony was attended by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, STF President Edson Fachin, Senate President Davi Alcolumbre, Chamber President Hugo Motta, and Federal Police Director-General Andrei Rodrigues.
The parade concluded with the presentation of the Smoke Squadron, whose aerial maneuvers, including the traditional heart design, were one of the highlights of the program and received applause from the audience. Also participating in the event were the Independence Dragons Cavalry and the character Zé Gotinha.
The bleachers set up on the Esplanade had a capacity for 30 thousand people and began receiving the public in the early morning hours.
