The municipality of Castelo Branco experienced on Saturday, September 5, a great sporting celebration with the passage of the 3rd stage of the 1st TSF/JN Grand Prix in cycling. The stage brought to the territory a competition of great national prestige that animated the local community.
The ride, with a course of 150.7 kilometres, had its start and finish at Alameda da Liberdade, in the center of the city of Castelo Branco. This stage adopted an unprecedented format by covering all the parishes of the municipality, bringing competitive sports to every corner of the territory.
The event provided a celebration of sport that involved the entire community of the municipality of Castelo Branco. The passage of the cyclists through the various parishes created a festive atmosphere along the entire route, attracting the attention and support of the local inhabitants.
