ARSAPAO – Rituais do Sul promotes, on September 12 and 13, the 5th edition of Mercados Rituais do Sul at Marina Ria Center, in Olhão. The event runs between 18:00 and 00:00 and brings together craftsmen, producers, artists, musicians, authors and facilitators in a programme dedicated to crafts, local products, literature, music, arts, dance and well-being.

One of the cultural highlights is the presentation of the work "Chaminés no Sotavento Algarvio" by João Carlos Sancho Horta Correia, which documents through photography and research the traditional chimneys of the region. The author is also responsible for other works on regional history and culture, including "Saboarias dos Tabordas" and work on the traces of the Templars in the Algarve.

Music will be present through Paulo Amado, who will perform in acoustic format with guitar, presenting a new version of the track "Eu Sei (Acústico)". Dance is also part of the programme, with Elsa Romeira, a certified Zumba Basic 1 instructor, leading an activity dedicated to movement and well-being.

The association intends for Mercados Rituais do Sul to be a meeting space for different knowledge and creative expressions, establishing itself not only as a place for commercialisation, but also as a point dedicated to culture, discovery and the enhancement of Algarve identity and regional heritage.
