The Municipal Museum of Tavira receives, on September 12, at 10:30 am, another guided tour of the "UMA ÁRVORE" exhibition, under the guidance of curator Ana Anacleto. Those interested can register through an online form made available for this purpose.
The exhibition takes as its starting point the history of a carob tree over six hundred years old that "witnesses" the Algarve landscape. The artistic project is signed by artists Daniel Moreira and Rita Castro Neves, and invites visitors to look differently at the territory, memory and the nature that surrounds us.
The exhibition is the result of three years of research around a centuries-old carob tree located in Moncarapacho. During the visit, it will be possible to learn about the artists' creative journey and the visual languages that shape this project.
