A pilot project to monitor indoor air quality identified poor air quality problems in 12 participating schools. The initiative aimed to evaluate the conditions of the indoor environment in the school facilities.
Monitoring was carried out through the itinerant installation of portable air quality measurement stations in the participating schools. These devices enable flexible and temporary data collection on air conditions.
The stations were equipped with specific sensors for measuring pollutants present in indoor air. This technology allows identifying and quantifying the various contaminants that can affect the quality of the environment in schools.
The pilot project thus made it possible to collect concrete data on air quality in the covered schools, contributing to identifying problems and potential health risks for the occupants of these spaces.
