The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro summoned streamer GH Rell RJ, identified as Jean Almeida Hilário, 19 years old, resident of Duque de Caxias, in Baixada Fluminense, after being accused of homophobia by actor João Victor Gonçalves, 24 years old, who plays the character Mau Mau in the soap opera "Quem Ama Cuida". The episode happened on Friday (4), in the surroundings of the Rock in Rio festival, and was broadcast live through the Kick platform.
In the viralized images, the streamer appears with friends making depreciative comments about the actor's appearance and clothing, who was wearing red pants. The group also appears following João Victor for a few seconds. Hours after the broadcast, GH was banned from the platform.
The streamer will have to give testimony at the Police Station for Racial Crimes and Intolerance Offenses (Decradi), and the actor will also be called to speak about the case. After the video went viral on social media, João Victor stated that he felt cornered and classified the episode as homophobia, also saying he was afraid of being robbed during the approach.
