The Almassora City Council hosted this Monday the first of six information sessions on the Special Plan for Flood Risk. The event brought together the mayor, municipal technicians and emergency services to address flood and inundation prevention in the region.
The initiative was organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Emergencies in collaboration with the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP). The main objective of these sessions is to strengthen prevention and improve coordination among municipalities in response to episodes of intense rainfall and flooding.
Almassora was chosen as the starting point for this training cycle that will take place in different localities. The sessions aim to equip local authorities and emergency services for a more effective response in situations of flood risk.
