Father Filipe Vales took over the parishes of Silvalde and Paramos, having been received with celebration, this weekend, by their respective Catholic communities.
In distinct ceremonies held in each of the parishes, Filipe Vales celebrated the welcome eucharists, with the participation of vicar Father Artur Pinto, also the outgoing provisional administrator of the parish of S. Tiago de Silvalde, and Father Nuno Oliveira, until then parish priest of Paramos, who was honored by the community of the Parish of Santos Tirso with a portrait with his image.
The celebrations counted with the presence of the Catholic community of both parishes, who wished to greet the arrival of the new parish priest.
In Paramos, the new parish priest also had the opportunity to participate in a dinner promoted by the Parish Council, held on Friday night with the participation of local associations.
