Princess Leonor began, this Monday, a new stage in her academic life at Carlos III University in Madrid. This transition marks the end of an important phase in her education, after completing secondary education and mandatory military training.
Leonor will attend the Political Science course for four years at the aforementioned university. This academic choice comes as preparation for her future role as future sovereign of Spain.
Before entering higher education, the princess completed intensive military training in the three branches of the Spanish Armed Forces. This experience gave her discipline and practical knowledge that she now complements with academic studies.
